OzChild 2023 Wishing Tree

Donation, News | Posted November 16, 2023

The OzChild Wishing Tree has launched for another year!

With the Christmas season fast approaching, the OzChild Wishing Tree online store is now officially open to buy presents for children and young people. Christmas is usually a time of excitement and joy for children and young people, but often those caring for children can struggle to make Christmas a special time due to financial pressures.

This year, the OzChild Wishing Tree store has a wide range of gifts to purchase for children and young people of all ages. From Legos and bikes to crafting kits and play sets, there’s something for everyone!

Your purchase helps lighten the load of what is already a financially challenging period for many during this time of economic hardship. Nothing brings more joy to carers and parents than seeing their child happy during Christmas time, your gift purchase is a big part of that!

Our target this year is to reach 1,000 toys and presents worth $25,000 for the children and young people OzChild supports. All gift choices available are appropriate to the age they have been assigned to, so you can shop with confidence that you’re buying something they will love.

When you purchase a gift through the OzChild Wishing Tree website, you are going beyond the act of giving – you are supporting carers and parents in making special memories with the young people in their life and making it a Christmas to remember.
