Our work
Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN)
Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) is an in-home early intervention program that works with families to ensure their children are safe from abuse and neglect.
Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) aims to keep families together by ensuring children are safe by preventing abuse and neglect. It also aims to reduce mental health difficulties experienced by adults and children, and increase natural social supports.
How are services delivered?
Our clinicians work as part of a broader health and welfare team to provide treatment to the entire family. Guided by extensive safety protocols, treatment is geared towards preventing re-occurrence of abuse and reducing risk of children entering out-of-home care.
