Our work
Chance to Shine Scholarship
The Chance to Shine Scholarship provides support to children and young people who need it most.
The purpose of the Chance to Shine Scholarship is to provide individual funding opportunities for OzChild children and young people aged 5-18 years. The program supports those who are experiencing challenges and/or disadvantages that impact education and participation in artistic, sporting, cultural or community activities.
With the cost of living affecting many Australian households, at-risk children and young people have become increasingly vulnerable. With the help of the Chance to Shine Scholarship, much-needed financial support will now be available to those students who need it most. There are three application rounds per year: March, July and October.
Thanks to the generosity of our philanthropic partners, OzChild can support children and young people through the Chance to Shine Scholarship program.
What can the funds be used for?
