In Victoria there are more than 10,000 children and young people in need of a safe and nurturing place to call home.
Help us improve the lives of vulnerable young Australians by holding a fundraiser at your school.
Making a difference is easy – get your school involved today!
What does OzChild do?
We work hard every day to provide a better future for the people in our care with the belief that every young person deserves the chance to shine.
OzChild is committed to improving the lives of at-risk children, young people and families in our community by keeping families together where possible through a variety of programs and services aimed at strengthening and repairing relationships.
We also provide foster carers for vulnerable children and young people on either a short term or longer-term basis.
How you can help!
Holding a fundraiser at your school doesn’t have to be over the top. The event can be as big or little as you like, and one that suits your whole community.
Wear orange for OzChild!
Hold a casual clothes day at your school and ask for a gold coin donation to participate. The money raised will help OzChild continue to deliver programs like our Time to Shine program for Primary School and Secondary School kids.
Hold a Walk-a-Thon
Use the school oval to hold a Walk-a-Thon and encourage students to get family and friends to support their Walk-a-Thon by sponsoring each lap they do!
Cookies and cake!
Bake sales or cake stalls are always popular, hold one at your school and raise money to support the training of a newly approved foster carer to ensure children have the chance at a brighter future.
