Our work
Koorie Early Years Network (KEYN)
OzChild facilitates and is a founding member of the Koorie Early Years Network (KEYN) which operates in South-West Victoria.
Who are we supporting with the Koorie Early Years Network?
The five Shires of Warrnambool, Moyne, Glenelg, Southern Grampians and Corangamite work collaboratively to increase outcomes for Koorie children in education and health. Stakeholders work together to introduce and develop Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPS) in their work place to increase cultural awareness and relationships with local Aboriginal communities.
How are services delivered?
The KEYN Action Plan prioritises cultural awareness training, using local Aboriginal languages in Early Years programs, and working more closely with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations in the region.

Acknowledgement of Country
OzChild acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work. We acknowledge their cultures are living ones, which relate to their ongoing connection to all things living and non-living on land, sea and sky.
We pay our respect to Elders past and present.
May the children of today lead us to a brighter tomorrow.
