Professional welfare support for students and their families.
School Services places a variety of different qualified welfare staff (including psychologists, speech pathologists and social workers) in primary and secondary schools across Victoria to support students experiencing a range of difficulties.
These welfare staff can help the school during leave vacancies, to develop or run programs or to support and train staff, or can provide psychological, educational and speech pathology assessments to support students who are experiencing difficulties at school. Our consultants are well versed in the specific requirements to support disability applications for the Department of Education and Training.
A network of trusted professionals
OzChild maintains a pool of highly trained, very experienced welfare and mental health professionals who can be placed in schools at short notice or to complete assessments.
If a specific type of professional is needed, we have the networks, recruitment and advertising mechanisms in place to rapidly find the right person for the task.
School Services provides contract staff to schools in all educational sectors including government, Catholic and independent at both primary and secondary levels. We also provide services to other non-school and community organisations that support students.
