Families Week Picnic Event

15-21 May 2021

Stronger Families, Stronger Communities

In celebration of National Families Week OzChild has launched its Picnic Campaign which encourages families, friends, workplaces sporting and community groups to hold a picnic during 15-21 May to show support for children, young people, and families.

The aim of National Families Week is to celebrate the vital role that families play in Australian society.

National Families Week is a time to celebrate with your family, make contact with your extended family and friends, and share in the enjoyment of family activities within the wider community. It is a time to celebrate the meaning of family and to make the most of family life.

Family comes in all shapes and sizes and strong families contribute to stronger communities. Get behind National Families Week this year by organising a picnic with your ‘family’; be it loved ones, friends, work colleagues or teammates.
