School Focused Youth Service Team Leader

 The work of the School Focused Youth Service (SFYS) program at OzChild is driven by the needs of at risk young people and closely linked to schools and health and wellbeing services provided by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and the community.

The SFYS Team Leader position supervises 2 coordinator positions that assist schools to improve student well-being, resilience and educational outcomes, focussing particularly on students at risk.The team leader drives, coordinates and evaluates the entire service, working in partnership with designated local governments, schools and agencies.

 The work of the School Focused Youth Service (SFYS) program at OzChild is driven by the needs of at risk young people and closely linked to schools and health and wellbeing services provided by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and the community.

The SFYS Coordinator position assists schools to improve student well-being, resilience and educational outcomes for all students, focussing particularly on students at risk. This is achieved through professional teamwork, planning, consultation, and development of successful partnerships between schools and community agencies working with youth.

Disability Respite Carers

We are seeking dynamic, compassionate and understanding individuals or couples to provide volunteer live in care for children and young people aged between 6 years to 18 years who experience a range of disabilities.

We are looking for individuals or couples, who reside in the Southern Region of Victoria to commit to a minimum two days a month to support a family in their own home providing much needed respite for the birth parents or full time carers.
