OzChild provides a range of family support services in the Victorian Department of Human Services (DHS) Southern Region.  Our diverse programs aim to strengthen families, while also focusing on the needs of children.  Some programs are only available to families living in particular municipalities in the Southern Region, while others provide a region wide service.

Integrated programs support vulnerable children and families with complex needs and aim to reduce the need for more intrusive Child Protection involvement.

The safety and wellbeing of children and the support and empowerment of families is promoted through direct service and by enhancing the service network.  Qualified staff and trained volunteers work collaboratively and respectfully with families to build upon their existing strengths, and to enhance and develop skills and coping strategies.

OzChild's Disability Services provide support to families and their children and young people with a disability, and their families, in times of stress or when a regular break is needed. All programs operate across the Southern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne.
