Best of Coping is a ten-module program of one-hour sessions aimed at teaching young people the basic skills of coping. It is suitable for 13 to 18 year olds.

Best of Coping is a resilience program developed at the University of Melbourne by Associate Professor Erica Frydenberg and Catherine Brandon. It is based on research into coping and on soundly established cognitive-behavioural psychological principles.

The program can be taught as a full program or each module can also be taught independently as part of curriculum or personal development. Modules include good thinking, getting along with others, asking for help, problem solving, making decisions and goal setting.

The program includes a teacher manual and student workbooks available through OzChild when program training is organised, or through the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) for the resource alone.
