Michael holds a Bachelor of Business and Property.  In 1991 Michael together with his brother George, founded Hickory Development.  This company is now recognised Australia wide as a major apartment and office builder.

The family business has grown and the family has always emphasised the importance of an ethical approach to business and relationships. Michael and his brother George are the fourth generation of the Argyrou family to be involved in the construction industry.

Michael and his family have a strong belief in social responsibility.  He is a father of a young family and Hickory has traditionally supported a number of charities involved with children, along with other worthy causes.
