Beverley O'Connor

Beverley is a well known Melbourne Broadcaster and Journalist with over twenty years experience and was included in the 2007 Who's Who of Australia Women.

As a journalist at the ABC, she specialised in Economics and Politics and presented/hosted a number of programs including hosting the Late Night News, and was a presenter on 3LO for five years.  Beverley was also a breakfast presenter on commercial radio.  A move to television included Stateline and the 7.30 Report along with hosting several other television programs.

In the Corporate Sector Beverley presented and produced an Inhouse Communications channel for the National Australia Bank.

Various positions held by Beverley include -

  • Deputy Chair and Director of the Melbourne Football Club
  • Board Director for six years and Life Governorship of the Australian Drug Foundation
  • Australia Day Ambassador
  • Ambassador for Variety Children's Charity
  • Director of the Sunrise Foundation
