OzChild's commencement as a provider for the new model for Kinship Services was officially launched this year. We are proud that OzChild was able to make a significant contribution to the development of this model because of our unique experience in running a Kinship program for over twelve years. The Kinship team, lead by Lynne McCrae and Bronwyn Harrison is to be applauded for all the work undertaken in getting the expanded, new model up and running in a limited time frame.
OzChild would like to warmly congratulate Lynne McCrae for recently winning the SACS Award for Leadership in the Not for Profit Sector - Non-Executive Leader Nominees - an outstanding achievement which recognises her contribution to the family and children's sector through her role as Manager of OzChild's Child and Family Support Services.
We are pleased to announce that OzChild has achieved accreditation as a Registered Training Organisation. The scope of our Training and Consulting Services courses can now be broadened and conducted entirely through OzChild, leading to more career opportunities for young people.
