A Tribute to One of Our Own |

The compassion and commitment of our volunteers and carers is most vital to our job of protecting children and providing them with a safe and nurturing environment in which to grow and thrive.
Russell and Anne Stannard have been long term foster parents with OzChild, first joining us in 1999, and by 2004 they had become the long term foster carers of two very loveable children.
Five years ago, Russell was diagnosed with terminal cancer and together as a family they rallied to make every day count. Russell and Anne, along with the children enjoyed many wonderful times together - until Russell became very unwell towards the end of last year and passed away on 3rd of March.

Kids more than anything, need love and support to grow and develop into healthy, happy adults. This Valentine's Day we ask you to take a moment to show a disadvantaged child some love by dontaing to our Valentine's Day Appeal.
You can Donate online here or through our Everyday Hero appeal page here.

Your donation will help provide support and services for children and families in need like:

- a speech therapy session for a child with language difficulties
- an essential training session for our volunteers and foster parents
