She has been early childhood teacher, leading teacher and Assistant Principal. Aurelia has been a part of the Eleanor Davis Leadership Program and has been presented with a NEiTA State Award for "Excellence in Teaching".

Her most recent role has been with OzChild Australia, developing and facilitating a Lifestyles well being and obesity prevention program, specifically for parents.

Aurelia enjoys reading, playing netball and cooking.
