Kaye Dennis has had extensive experience working with young people, families and health professionals. She has qualifications in teaching, special education, counselling and community education. Kaye is an approved counsellor and educator with the National Association for Loss and Grief (NALAG). Kaye has worked at pre-school and primary as a teacher and consultant, and secondary and tertiary levels as a consultant. Kaye is also a Restorative Practices trainer and facilitator for schools and organizations. Grief Education in schools and the community have been a long and ongoing part of Kaye’s work. Kaye as a trained parent educator, parenting workshops and seminars have been an important part of Kaye’s work as the vital three way link. (school/ student and home) to understanding students for the optimum learning outcomes. Kaye has been recognised publicly, by the Australian College of Education for “the quality of education she provides in professional development, mentoring and coaching.” |
