Jane has been a registered psychologist for almost 10 years, but began her career in "human services" while an undergrad student in the early 90's. She worked initially in drug and alcohol, but also in child protection, foster care, working with offenders (Dame Phyllis Frost Centre) and victims/survivors. Jane has also worked with children, parents and teaching staff in schools regarding counselling, group work and assessments. This mixed bag of experience has informed her current work interests and she enjoys the variety of counselling, training and assessment work. Jane enjoys travelling to remote locations to facilitate workshops and training - but is equally at home in her local community. When not engaged in psychological work, she gardens, chauffers and cooks for adolescents and falls asleep on the couch with an animal or 3! |
