Shagufta is a registered psychologist and member of APS (Australian Psychological Society).

Shagufta has been working with OzChild since 2006 as a psychologist. Shagufta holds post graduate science degree in Applied Psychology and a Masters of Psychology (Counselling) Degree from Monash University.

Shagufta is experienced in private practice and within the mental health sector providing assessments, counselling and psychotherapy to all age groups.

Shagufta has substantial experience in education, research, social welfare, aged care and public service.

Specialising in CALD environments and the delivery of professional to professional training Shagufta maintains a careful and reflective approach to all training activities she undertakes.
